Welcome back to lessons! Term 1 is going well and we are loving seeing our students progressing with each lesson.

New Term Dates in 2024
We are moving away from the traditional school term blocks.
Why?
We are doing this to help create a more ‘year round’ program, as consistency is key to progressing in swimming. It also provides more consistency around hours for our teachers, which in turn will assist providing more opportunities and greater long term retention.
From the start of 2024 the term dates will be:
Term 1 Monday 8 January – Thursday 28 March
(11 or 12 weeks depending on your day)
Break Friday 29 March – Sunday 7 April
Term 2 Monday 8 April – Sunday 30 June
(12 weeks)
Break Monday 1 July- Sunday 7 July
Term 3 Monday 8 July – Sunday 22 September
(11 weeks)
Break Monday 23 September – Sunday 29 September
Term 4 Monday 30 September – Sunday 22 December
12 Weeks
Public holidays will be closed.
We acknowledge this change may affect holiday plans and encourage you to contact reception if you need to discuss anything.
Introducing Sibling Discount
Single group lesson fees will remain unchanged at $24.
We also believe that the more a child swims, the quicker they become safer. Therefore if you enrol in additional sessions in the week, they will come with a 10% discount. Eg $24 for 1st lesson, $21.60 for the second and any further lessons.
Sibling discount
If you have a second child enrolled, we are offering a 5% discount on the second enrolment (i.e $22.80 per lesson). If you have a third child enrolled, it’s 10% off that enrolment and any additional siblings (i.e $21.60 per lesson).
If you would like to enrol in addtional lessons for your child or enrol a sibling, please contact Reception to check the available times.
Survival Swim Lessons at Canning Vale
Dani has returned from Maternity leave and is back doing Survival Swim Lessons at our Canning Vale Pool.
Currently lessons are being held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Please note there are no Survival Swim lessons at Willetton this term.

Makeups
In order to be eligible for a makeup lesson, we must receive a minimum of 3 hours notice prior to your scheduled lesson.
This allows other families sufficient time to make use of your spot for the day.

Communications between Swim School & Your Family
There are a number of means we use to communicate to our families. We try not to over-communicate, so please take a minute to read when we do.
** Messages sent with little notice or intended for every family, are sent through the Waterwise Swim School App – you must have Notifications enabled in order for our messages to popup on your screen. If you need help with the App, please ask Reception.
** We also use emails to send longer messages that have less urgency. If our emails end up in your Spam folder, please mark us as a safe sender.
** You can use the Customer Portal to contact us and we will receive that as an email. Emails are only checked during Office Hours which is why absences need to be marked by you within the Customer Portal. For example, if your child wakes up sick in the middle of the night, they won’t be okay for a lesson in the morning – you will be surprised how many other parents might be up at the same time and just happen to be looking for a makeup spot to catch up on a lesson. They will then be able to grab your spot for the day. It has happened at all hours of the night! 🙂
Term 2 Enrolments
Term 2 invoices will be sent out on Monday 11th March 2024.
All current enrolments will rollover automatically to the same day/time for Term 2.
If you do not wish to continue lessons in Term 2 please let reception know TODAY.
If you wish to change your day/time in Term 2, you can ask reception about available times for Term 2 after the invoices are sent out on March 11th.
