Who is the weekend receptionist at Canning Vale?

Daniel Holley is the friendly receptionist you will find working at Canning Vale every Saturday and Sunday. Daniel turned 21 in Term 1 but wasn’t able to properly celebrate until Term 2!

He is studying Marketing at university and is currently in his 4th year of study. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys photography as well as painting / drawing.


Cancer Council

A huge thank you to our families across Willetton and Canning Vale for your purchases of our Cancer Council beanies! With your generous support we have raised $315. Your support is appreciated more than words can say.




Have you met Ollie, our swim school Octopus mascot? Ollie is an intelligent, friendly creature who loves to help children get safe in the water!

We’ve chosen Ollie as our mascot because octopus’s have 3 hearts. Originally those 3 hearts represent our founder, Stacy, and her business partners, Wendy & Alex.

Goody Bags

Every new swimmer who enrols at Waterwise Willetton or Canning Vale will receive a goody bag after their first lesson. In your goody bag you’ll receive Ollie the octopus and a towel to dry off after your lesson. Be sure to get yours from Reception on your way out. Please don’t be shy to ask for your goody bag if the Receptionist doesn’t get you one!

Amended Terms

Please be aware our Term dates have changed so that we can offer more of our Term schedule to our families through the school holidays, rather than running a Vac Swim program in September/October.

Please see the updated Term Planner. If you will be away in school holidays, please use the Customer Portal to mark your family absent.

All makeups currently on your account will be valid for the remainder of this calendar year. Please note that we cannot carry those over into January Vac Swim (only makeups accrued in Term 4 can be used in January).

For Annually Enrolled families, we were able to catch up all weekend classes, and some of the week day classes. The number of lessons paid for this year has worked out as below, taking into account the first 5 weeks of Term 2 during which we were closed (and for which no one was charged for lessons and no makeups were accrued).

Where there are not as many Actual lessons as were paid for, you will have a Credit on your account for those 2 or 3 classes, unless you have already requested that those be converted to Makeups. Any questions, please contact Stacy.

Free Lessons!

We appreciate our Waterwise families and love seeing new faces. By referring a new family to our program you will receive a free lesson or a credit to the value of a lesson ($24) towards next term’s fees for every referral enrolled through you. No limits!

Please make sure anyone you refer remembers to mention your name so we can thank them accordingly!


In order to be eligible for a makeup we must receive a minimum of 3 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled lesson. If your child is sick and unfit for lessons, or if you will be away on holiday, please use the Customer Portal to notify us of your absence. You can also email or phone the swim school any time. Just leave a message any time of the day or night if no one answers.

Please remember we cannot guarantee makeups though we will do our best to ensure every family gets the lessons paid for. Makeup lessons are valid for 3 months and can be used for our term swimming or VAC swim program, subject to availability. Makeups to be used during the term can be booked at your convenience through the Customer Portal. Any problems, just ask the Receptionist on duty.

Swim School App:

The App is used sparingly (we won’t spam you!) for short, important messages that need to go to every family, for example reminders of Term dates. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, search “Waterwise Swim School” in itunes App Store or Google Play. Please make sure you have notifications enabled!

Customer Portal:

The Customer Portal is where you can check all your enrolment details, notify us of an absence (so long as it is more than 3 hours before your scheduled lesson time), and where you can book makeups. There is a tab linking to the Customer Portal in the App, or you can use the links below:
