Newsletter Term 2 2020

A very warm welcome to all our new families, and to all our previously enrolled families. We are enjoying what’s left of Term 2 with our students and love to see their progress in the pool as always!

We became aware during the Covid close that many families are not receiving our messages and therefore didn’t know when we closed or when we re-opened.

If that was you, please take a minute to set us up on your phone and other devices. Our primary method of communicating info that needs to go to all families is through the Swim School App. Search “Waterwise Swim School” in your app store – please ensure notifications are enabled.

We also communicate through Facebook and Instagram, through Simply Swim (where invoices come out of), and through a mailchimp listing. There are probably many families who received every one of those messages but others who didn’t receive any.

Now is a great time to make sure you are in the loop! Please ask Reception for help next time you are in if you need any assistance with any of these.

Amended Terms

Please be aware our Term dates have changed so that we can offer more of our Term schedule to our families through the school holidays, rather than running a Vac Swim program in July and September/October.

Please see the updated Term Planner. If you will be away in school holidays, please use the Customer Portal to mark your family absent.

All makeups currently on your account will be valid for the remainder of this calendar year. Please note that we cannot carry those over into January Vac Swim (only makeups accrued in Term 4 can be used in January).  –   –   –  –   –  –   – –   –   –   –   –   –   –   –  –   –  –   –   –   –  –   –

If your child is sick and unfit for lessons, or if you will be away on holiday, please use the Customer Portal to notify us of your absence. You can also email or phone the swim school any time.
