I started to learn swimming after I came to Australia in 2011, and my instructor was YouTube. I enjoy the amenities in Australia, and I practice swimming every week.
Swimming helps me to control my weight and be more fit. The most important advantage is that I can protect my family, especially my son in water.
Comparing to Australian swimming, my home country China still has long distance to catch up. Despite elite athlete gaining a lot medals in Olympics, for the every day family, the average swimming skill is inadequate. This is due to lack of good instructors and well developed swimming education system.
I am delighted to join Waterwise. We have experienced and kind instructors in this harmonious multicultural family.
In 2017, we plan to bring Waterwise Swimming to China, to teach Chinese children swimming and survival skills.

Meet Our Instructors: Wendy McFarlane
Wendy is our lead instructor for Baby Swim and Swimming for People with Disabilities, and offers classes at our Mosman Park and Parkwood locations.

Why We (Strongly) Recommend Survival Swim
In Perth, we have strict laws about pool fencing yet many children continue to drown in backyard pools here, and across the country, almost on a weekly basis!
